Today the kids and I spent got a last minute invitation to go to my grandparents house for the day. We headed over as soon as we could get our gear together and spent a great morning in the pool and afternoon sharing lunch on the patio. Adrian played for an hour in the pool then napped for awhile. We love playing with him in the water, but he is at a difficult age for water play...too young for floaties and too independent to want to be held the whole time. He laid right down in the pack and play without a fuss. Victory! JG and Ava were all over the pool, jumping off the diving board, and using their new water blasters to squirt everything from bugs to roosters (on the roof of the gazebo). Another fun summer day down. I wonder how many there are left to go? Anyone know?
