Family Celebrations

One of the things that I really love about my family is the way that we take time to celebrate everyone's birthday together.  We share a meal, some gifts, and lots of time just sitting around talking and playing with the kids.  I know that some families don't make a fuss about birthdays (and of course that is fine), but we love to celebrate and be together and I LOVE it!

Today I got to host some early and late birthdays and Father's Day with my Dad's side of the family.  Although not everyone could make it, we made the best of it and had a good time anyway (ha,ha).  Jesse, JG, and Uncle Sam have/had birthdays recently and got to make their birthday wishes together.  JG and Ava had a great time reading books with Dado, Gran, and Aunt TayTay.  Adrian napped most of the party away and was the happier for it when he woke up.  I loved catching up with everyone and sneaking across the street to hold sweet baby Cooper.
