JG had his wooly bear. Ava has her meow (a stuffed puppy dog). Adrian has his blankies. He has slept with one of these blankets every night since he came home from the hospital. The white one is his favorite and was given to him by Merle, a mentor of mine. He loves these hand crocheted blankets. I didn't know how much he loved them until he found me pulling them out of the laundry hamper. He smiled, grabbed his blankies and ran. He cried as he watched me put them in the washing machine. This picture is him rolling in his blankets fresh from the wash.
