Mischief... lots of mischief going on around here today. This morning, when Jesse went outside to work in the yard for a few minutes, I decided to take a quick shower. I did my usual bit with the kids. I put Ava in the middle of my bed with a few toys and told JG he could play in his new boots (a great garage sale deal this morning). I'm in the shower for about 3 minutes when I hear Ava shrieking with delight. I take a split second to wonder what she is laughing at before hopping out the showering (dripping wet) to peek out the bathroom door. And what to my wondering eyes should appear but JG pouring a bottle of baby powder over Ava's head and all over the bed. Both kids were laughing happily. I quickly dust off Ava and send JG to his bathroom to wash his hands and face. I dry off, then go to check on him. He decided he needed a LOT of soap to get his hands clean, so he did the natural thing, and twisted off the cap and poured it all over his hands, arms, and face. What a stinker! When I went to clean up the room, I saw that he had taken off his boots and placed them neatly by our bed before he climbed up and made a mess... funny the rules he can and can't remember.
