This morning (day 5 of total bed rest) I woke up with a song in my head. The song was based on a Psalm and written by a friend of mine in college. His band played it often on Sunday mornings and it was one of my favorites. I may not get all the words right but I wanted to share it anyway.
The Lord is near, to all those who call on Him,

He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him,
he hears their cries and he saves them.
The Lord he watches over all
all who trust in Him,
My mouth will sing in praise to the Lord,
praise His holy name.
Let every creature, praise His holy name, forever.

That is all I can remember right now. These words are blessing my heart today and I hope they will bless yours.
