Sunday night, we had a family night of sorts. Well, it was actually a girls night/guys night evening. Jesse and JG watched "Ricky Ticky Tavi" while Ava and I made her first batch of cookies together.
JG loved the short movie and can now tell you exactly how a mongoose kills a cobra snake. Don't worry, this movie is an animated Disney movie, but it was educational too.
Ava enjoyed baking the cookies too. She licked the beaters until they were clean and then promptly stuck them back in the dough bowl to reload!!

Hey Amy,
You'll have to tell JG that we have mongeese in our yard in Tanzania! Isn't that fun? They are really cute and can stand on their back legs and always look for our Rottweiler before they come in by standing up with their paws on our gate looking in. They go around in a group and make chirping noises if they need to alarm each other. Really cute animals! I'll have to get Riki Tiki for our kids.
