A few weeks ago, we went to Gulf Shores, AL to spend time relaxing and playing on the beach. We had a wonderful time! We met up with 3 other couples and their kiddos totaling 8 adults and 7 kids (3 and under) in a 6 bedroom house. It really was a perfect fit.
I've never seen 2 kids more excited about the beach than Ava and JG. Ava would run in out of the waves and would shriek with delight every single time. JG LOVED jumping the waves with Daddy. We spent lots of time playing in the sand, building sand castles, combing the beach for shells, and flying kites. JG and the boys went on a 2 mile nature trail and Ava joined Jesse one morning to see Fort Morgan. We also took a short drive to Pensacola one morning to see the Blue Angels practice and have lunch with some old friends.
The trip was a great success and I give all praise to the Lord for safe travel, good relationships among the kiddos, all the fun, and everything else amazing. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers for a wonderful beach vacation
